1) Pak and Sotheby’s: NFT sold for $ 17 million
The works of the NFT series “The Fungible Collection” by artist Pak sold for over $ 17 million during the three-day auction in collaboration with Sotheby’s via the Nifty Gateway platform, creating a lot of enthusiasm on the part of collectors.
The artist defined the sale as a real “pixel-scale bidding war”.
2) Jerry Saltz and Kenny Schachter create NFT: selling on SuperRare.
The volcanic American art criticJerry Saltz and artist Kenny Schachter will auction the NFT work “The first 10,000” on the SuperRare platform, a collage featuring a series of posts published by Jerry Saltz on social Instagram. The sale will start on Friday 16 April and will run for three days. The proceeds will be entirely donated to charity.
3) Prisoner Charles Bronson sells works in NFT
Charles Bronson, Britain’s most famous prisoner, is ready to auction limited edition NFTs. The sale will start on Tuesday 20 April on the Inloop Digital platform and the Crypto Art works will be the only available version of the works created by the artist: the physical ones will be burned. The prisoner-artist hopes to raise at least £ 1.5 million.
Bronson said, “I’ll do my art, I’ll make a living from my art. I’ll do a lot for charities, I’ll do a lot for my education.”
