Sotheby’s prepares to sell Banksy in ETH
On November 18, during the Sotheby’s New York The Now Evening auction, two iconic paintings by the famous artist Banksy will be sold in ETH.
Trolley Hunters, estimated between 5 and 7 million dollars and Love is in the Air, estimated between 4 and 6 million dollars, are ready to be contested with offers in Ethereum cryptocurrency with the direction of the auctioneer Oliver Barker, accompanied by numerous masterpieces made in the last 20 years by the likes of Yoshitomo Nara and Mark Bradford.
The announcement was made on Twitter by Sotheby’s Metaverse, a platform dedicated to crypto collectors that offers a selection of NFTs by the specialists of the well-known auction house and which recently inaugurated its business with the Natively Digital 1.2: The Collectors which involved 19 collectors and 53 NFT works.
