So it is for Ilaria Bonacossa, director of the art fair Artissima in Turin, an all-Italian excellence recognized internationally, who in these months faces the digital challenge with new vitality.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The challenges do not frighten her, on the contrary, one of the first to convince her family that the <b>road to Contemporary Art would not be completely wrong.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Today there are many curatorial projects and one of the most important is the direction of the <b>Artissima art fair until 2021<\/b>, overcoming one of the most complex moments for the art world, a health emergency that has in fact put major events on stand-by at a global level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While waiting for the 27th edition, scheduled from 6 to 8 November 2020, Artissima did not miss a moment and went <b>online with the <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artissima.art\/fondamenta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>&#8220;Fondamenta&#8221;<\/b><\/span><\/a><b> platform<\/b>, a real <b>&#8220;collective project&#8221; Curator for seven years at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fsrr.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin<\/b><\/span><\/a>, from 2012 to 2017 she was Artistic Director of the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.museidigenova.it\/it\/content\/museo-di-villa-croce\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\"><span class=\"s2\"><b> Museo Villa Croce<\/b><\/span><\/a>, Genoa and since 2014 she has been curator of the <b>permanent contemporary art installations of <\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.antinoriartproject.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>Antinori Art Projects<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>. <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In 2013 he curated <b>Katrin Sigurdardottir<\/b>&#8216;s project <b>at the Icelandic Pavilion at the <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.labiennale.org\/it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>Venice Biennale<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>. <\/b>She was a member of the Technical Committee for the <b>acquisitions of the <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fracpaca.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>FRAC Provence-Alpes C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur<\/b><\/span><\/a><b> museum in Marseille<\/b>, a member of the <b>Scientific Committee of the <\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacmilano.it\/\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>PAC<\/b><\/span><\/a><b> in Milan and director for Italy of the international programme <\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aptglobal.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>Artist Pension Trust<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>.<\/b> In 2007 she was a member of the Jury for the Golden Lion of 52. Venice Art Biennale. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Since 2016 he has been artistic director of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.la-raia.it\/fondazione\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s2\"><b> La Raia Foundation<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>.<\/b> Since 2017 he has been a member of the committee <\/span><span class=\"s3\">of selection for the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondationprincepierre.mc\/en\/contemporary-art\/prize\/the-international-prize-of-contemporary-art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\"><span class=\"s2\"><b> Prince Pierre Prize, Monaco<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">_________________________ <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #dd9933;\"><b>1.How did your journey into the art world begin?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I come from a family of collectors and my mother has always restored paintings, the passage for me was from the world of art to the world of contemporary art that was looked at with suspicion in my family. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #dd9933;\"><b>2.How would you describe your profession today?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I&#8217;ve been running Artissima for almost four years.
