The museum dedicated to Beeple’s NFT works was born<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A visit to Museum B.20, the virtual museum dedicated to the works of the digital artist Beeple<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The record-breaking artist Beeple has officially entered the history of art and from January 2021 it is possible to visit his works within a widespread museum complex consisting of three virtual buildings distributed on three decentralized platforms.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was created by Metapurse<\/strong><\/a> the largest NFT fund in the world, founded by Metakovan<\/a>, the collector who bought the work Everydays: The First 5,000 Days by digital artist Beeple, aka Mike Winkelmann, for $ 69 million from Christie’s.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even prior to this acquisition Metapurse owned a large collection of Beeple’s NFT works which included \u201cBeeple Everydays: The 2020 Collection\u201d, \u201cUrbit Galaxy\u201d, \u201cF1 DeltaTime III\u201d, \u201cFirst Supper\u201d and the first 20 edition of \u201cBeeple Everydays: The 2020 Collection \u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metapurse has commissioned Voxel Architects<\/strong><\/a>, a digital designer studio, to build a widespread virtual museum on the Decentraland<\/strong><\/a>, CryptoVoxels<\/strong><\/a> and Spazio Somnium<\/strong><\/a> platforms with the aim of sharing ownership of Beeple’s art collection through the sale of the B20 token.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The B.20 Museum is the first public art project in virtual reality costing over 2.7 million dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The museums can only be visited with an avatar that moves within a digital space, with modern and extremely futuristic architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection consists of works worth over 2.2 million dollars<\/strong>: among these we find “The Passion of the Elon” <\/em><\/strong>(a giant Elon Musk who is crucified) and “Shrek Too”<\/em><\/strong> (which depicts the famous green ogre from DreamWorks Animation) hung on the walls of the rooms like real paintings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
