His works of shamanic inspiration prove to be perfect for communicating the parallelism between the semantics of the Far West and the crypto universe: places of novelty, experimentation and mysticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHO IS LAWRENCE LEE?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lawrence Lee has been an artist for more than 50 years. Since the late 1970s he has dedicated himself to art full time and his works occupy the spaces of museums and private collections all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The experience with digital art is well rooted in his artistic career: in fact, in 1989, Lee created the first computer-generated illustrated book for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HIS ART<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lawrence Lee’s artistic production can be summarized in two strands: that of landscapes and that of portraits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Landscapes are semi-abstract scenarios where color dominates as a determining element in the composition, deviating from the reproduction of reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The portraits, on the other hand, always have a totemic aspect, referring to the Native American shamanic tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee’s entire production is strongly characterized by the western atmosphere that permeates the landscapes of Arizona where the artist was born and still lives today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“CrossCronocron<\/strong><\/a> Man \u201d <\/strong><\/a>(2020) is an example of Lawrence Lee’s portrait style ported to the NFT format. The face of an old man with native features rendered thanks to masses of color that give the work a psychedelic aura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist, on SuperRare<\/a>, builds the story of a traveler around the image<\/p>\n\n\n\n
