The experts of the\u00a0<\/i>Fine Art Expert Institute di Ginevra<\/i><\/a>\u00a0(FAEI) have estimated that more than half of the artworks in circulation result be to fake. <\/i><\/h1>\n

In Italy the recents cases reveal this problem in the art world.<\/i><\/h2>\n

Nothing is more painful and disconcerting, for a passionate art collector, to find out that the much desired work turns out to be fake.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

[signinlocker id=4040] A few weels ago in\u00a0Italy<\/b>, the news reported another scoop related to fake artworks <\/b>placed on the market, for a turnover of millions euros<\/strong><\/p>\n

The last case is about a marvellous everted canvas of\u00a0Enrico Castellani<\/b>, well-known post-war artist.<\/p>\n

The report from a collector, expert passionate about Castellani’s work, launched the investigation in 2014, coming out on the news\u00a0\u00a0news<\/a> during last days.<\/p>\n

In the investigation are apparently involved some\u00a0gallerists<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0so smearing the art italian market once again.<\/p>\n

Another case<\/a>\u00a0emerged is the one related to the works of Eduarda Emilia Maino, also known as\u00a0Dadamaino<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The investigations of the\u00a0Carabinieri of the Department of the Protection of the Cultural Heritage of Monza, <\/b>would have revealed the involvement\u00a0of some of the\u00a0components of thef the\u00a0 italian artist’s Archive<\/b>, besides the galleries of Milan, Lodi and Asti .<\/p>\n

The scandal that struck the market of Dadamaino’s work, with great damage, has registered an cexchange of artworks at a national and international level, for a value quantified at 20 millions of euros.<\/b><\/p>\n

The detectives pointed out a total of\u00a0\u00a0462 fake artworks\u00a0<\/b>of which only 90 seized in Italy<\/strong>,<\/b>\u00a0while the remaining 372 are missing, probably hanged in the house of some unaware collector.<\/p>\n

These kind of news damage almost irremediably the sales of artworks of the faked artists and not only.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

New technologies<\/a>\u00a0come in this case to the aid of artists, museums, archives.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Art Rights<\/b><\/a>, <\/b>by using the blockchain, is the more up-to-date example.<\/p>\n

It is about in fact a new digital technology that allows incorruptibility and devolution of informations, encrypted data, with the safeguard of the privacy and safety to protect the whole art supply chain.<\/p>\n

The hope is for an evolution of the entire economic art sector, in terms of protection and valorisation of the art heritage, with a growing attention in finding solutions to support the management and the certificate of the artwork.<\/p>\n
