due diligence<\/strong> <\/em>strategy to verify:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>security of the platforms<\/strong>\u00a0where contacts with auction houses, galleries and artists take place<\/li>\n<li><strong>Information about the work<\/strong> (origin, certificate of authenticity, condition report)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Protection of personal data<\/strong> during payment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shipment conditions<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Hiscox Art Online Trade report data shows that the online market amounts to $<strong> 4.2 billion<\/strong>, almost <strong>8%<\/strong> of the <strong>global market amounting to $ 64 billion<\/strong>, recording a growth of 12% in 2017, although slowed compared to 15% in 2016 and an increase of 24% in 2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In a market that is expected to reach trade for $ 8.37 billion by 2023, the analysis reveals interesting factors and concrete answers to the consolidation of the online market:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>THE TRANSPARENCY OF PRICES<\/strong>:<strong> 90%<\/strong> of <strong>new collectors<\/strong> consider it essential to go beyond this obstacle, in an <strong>offline market<\/strong> deemed <strong>&#8220;opaque&#8221;
