the Archives become for gallery owners and collectors, guarantors of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/certificate-of-authenticity\/\">authenticity of the artworks<\/a><\/strong> of the artist and reference point in the art market as certifying the originality of the works in circulation.<\/p>\n<p><b>Specifically, an artist archive works in these ways<\/b><b>:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b> Archiving the artist&#8217;s works<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Protecting the artist&#8217;s production<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Valorizing the artistic research<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Granting the authenticity of the works<\/b><\/li>\n<li><strong>Keeping order in the <a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/documents-purchasing-art\/\">artworks documentation<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Preserving and keeping track of the location of the works by releasing certificates of authenticity of the works and \/ or inserting them in the reasoned catalogs. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Becoming a point of reference for Collectors, Galleries and Museums<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The artist who decides to create his own Archive works to protect the future of his own production, countering the possible risk of the <a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/fakes-castellani-dadamaino-italy\/\"><strong>fakes<\/strong><\/a>, encouraging <strong>transparency of information<\/strong> <strong>in the market<\/strong>, so as to guarantee the collector to perform a proper <em><strong>due diligence<\/strong><\/em> in the research phase of the data on the works.<\/p>\n<p>Today it is not uncommon for the collector, driven by the desire to start the process of inserting his artwork in the reference archive, to contact the <strong>artist&#8217;s art gallery<\/strong>, which in close relationship with the <strong>Archive<\/strong> can become a meeting point, starting up activities that can lead to complete <strong>management of the Archive by the art gallery.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Art galleries that manage, totally or in part, an Artist Archive, are growing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Their purpose is to <strong>support the artist&#8217;s role<\/strong> in the system and<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/how-calcolate-artwork-price\/\"> to raise his artworks value<\/a> <\/strong>in the market, through the participation at <a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/fairs-art-world\/\"><strong>art fairs<\/strong><\/a>, the organization of exhibitions often in collaboration with museums, in the management of the loans of the works, thus becoming <a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/7-benefits-of-buying-at-an-art-gallery\/\"><strong>guarantor for collectors<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>both in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/primary-and-secondary-art-market\/\">primary and secondary market.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Among the main galleries in close relationship with the artist&#8217;s Archives we find:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacegallery.com\/\">Pace Gallery<\/a><\/u><\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>in collaboration with the Art Agency Partners division of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sothebys.com\/\">Sotheby\u2019s<\/a> for <strong>Vito Acconci<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidzwirner.com\/\">David Zwirner<\/a><\/u><\/strong>, for <strong>Ruth Asawa<\/strong>, <strong>Joan Mitchell<\/strong>, <strong>Josef Albers<\/strong> e <strong>Diane Arbus<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hauserwirth.com\/\" class=\"broken_link\">Hauser &amp;
